Mr. Blake directs the firm's workers' compensation practice group and serves as the Firm's personnel partner.

Mr. Blake graduated West Chester University in 1989 receiving a Bachelors Degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science with a concentration in American Government.  He attended the Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, Delaware and was awarded a J.D. in 1992.  During law school, Mr. Blake interned with a Federal Magistrate Judge in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and gained courtroom experience with the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office, Media, Pennsylvania.

Upon graduation from law school, he became an associate with the Law Firm of Kearney & Brady, P.C. where he practiced civil litigation and criminal defense for approximately 5 years.  This work included multiple and regular court appearances, including bench and jury trials.  In 1998, Mr. Blake became an associate with the Law Offices of Prutting & Lombardi, concentrating his practice in the area of insurance defense litigation.  Mr. Blake was admitted to the Vermont Supreme Court in June, 2001. 

He presently represents Vermont employers and their insurance carriers in workers' compensation claims before the Vermont Department of Labor, Vermont Superior Courts and the Vermont Supreme Court.  He also advises clients on employment law issues and represents businesses as well as individuals in civil litigation matters.  This work has resulted in favorable reported decisions from both the Department of Labor and the Vermont Supreme Court.

Mr. Blake lives in Vermont with his wife and two children.
