Mr. Mabey graduated from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. He attended New England School of Law and earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2004.  He served as Executive Case and Note Editor of the New England Journal of Civil and Criminal Confinement in his third year, was is a two time recipient of the New England Scholar Award for academic achievement and was also named to the dean’s list for all three academic years.   

Prior to joining Ellis Boxer & Blake, Mr. Mabey was an associate attorney with the Boston law firm Morrison Mahoney, LLP where he practiced in the general insurance defense litigation and nursing home litigation group. 

He was also an associate with the law firm Delaney & Muncey, P.C. in Plymouth, Massachusetts where he practiced general civil litigation with concentration in property litigation and real estate conveyance. 

In 2003, Mr. Mabey served as a summer law clerk with the Massachusetts Land Court and as an intern with the Massachusetts Superior Court. 

Mr. Mabey joined Ellis Boxer & Blake as an associate in November of 2007.  He lives in Bondville, VT.
