Ellis Boxer & Blake's roots trace back to 1971, when the firm’s founder, Ed Kiel, began his law practice in Vermont. The firm’s current partners, Steve Ellis and Andy Boxer both joined the firm in 1994 and Bill Blake joined in 2000.  Mr. Kiel retired in 2002.  Over the years, the firm has built a team of talented lawyers with a shared commitment to the highest professional standards and to southern Vermont as the ideal hub for a regional business-oriented law firm.  The firm represents clients throughout Vermont, New York, and greater New England in the fields of business law and litigation, intellectual property, insurance coverage and insurance defense, regulatory and environmental law, employment law, workers compensation, product liability, municipal and school law.
