Mr. Sluka graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics with honors in 2002.  He attended Vermont Law School in South Royalton, Vermont and earned a Juris Doctor cum laude in 2005. 

While in law school, Mr. Sluka served as law clerk in the Municipal Assistance Center at the Vermont League of Cities & Towns in Montpelier, Vermont, and Martin & Associates in Barre, Vermont.  He also served as law clerk to the Honorable Judges Burling and Houran in the Grafton County Superior Court in North Haverhill, New Hampshire, and the Honorable Judge Vaughan in the Coos County Superior Court in Lancaster, New Hampshire.

Mr. Sluka joined Ellis Boxer & Blake as an associate in August of 2005 and devotes his practice to Workers' Compensation defense.  He lives in Reading, Vermont with his wife.
