Ms. Stensby graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Russian. She attended Fordham University School of Law in New York City, where she earned a Juris Doctor in 2007. At Fordham, she received the Addison Metcalf prize for excellence in Labor Law and the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. She also served as Assistant Editor on the Environmental Law Review. Prior to joining Ellis Boxer & Blake in July 2009, Ms. Stensby (nee Greble) was an associate attorney with a general practice firm based in Albany, New York. There, she focused on public - and private - sector employment law as well as general civil litigation.
Ms. Stensby is currently admitted to practice law in Vermont and New York State.
She lives in White River Junction, Vermont with her husband and daughter.
